RI Dues Collection Cycle (Decision 141) |
| The procedures outlined in the following subsections govern the payment by clubs of financial obligations to RI. Section 9.020. |
| | 1) |
A reminder notice (equivalent to Suspension) will be sent to clubs with unpaid financial obligations in excess of US$250, 90 days (three months) from due date; |
| | 2) |
Termination of clubs with unpaid financial obligations in excess of US$250 will occur 180 days (six months) from due date (automatic); |
REINSTATEMENT |
| | 3) |
Any terminated club has to fully pay its financial obligations, plus US$10 per member as reinstatement fee, within 270 days (nine months) from the due date (180 to 270 days); |
| | 4) |
A club may only revise its membership list within 365 days (1 year) from the semiannual period due date. When a club is reorganised more than 90 days after termination, (ie. after 270 days) it must follow the policy for a newly admitted club and pay a charter fee of US$15 per head in addition to the reinstatement fee of US$10 (that is total US$25 per head apart from the dues).
In order to maintain a club's name, history and charter, it must be reorganised no later than 365 days (1 year) from the termination date.
If only partial payment is made by the 90th day following termination, that amount will be applied to the club's delinquent financial obligation. However the club will still have to undergo the admission procedure and pay a charter fee plus all outstanding obligations including the reinstatement fee. Reorganised clubs will be billed semiannual dues according to the schedule for newly admitted club.
After 365 days from the due date club will lose its name and charter (de-chartered). There after a new club has to be started in another name and get fresh charter on that date.
There is no fee for issuing a "Duplicate Charter". |
